Role overview
This is a unique opportunity to design and own Evaro’s financial control environment within a mission-driven health tech business focused on making healthcare affordable and accessible. The role offers clear progression to Head of Finance, strong leadership support, and is office-based in Norwich with a well-supported transition.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial control team of 3 at Evaro ensuring all core operational activities happen in a controlled, organised way and always delivered to deadlines
Act as primary relationship owner with external audit firm, ensuring smooth audit preparation and timely delivery of statutory accounts
Develop appropriate policies to implement and bring clarity to business processes such as procure to pay, capex, expense policies, and others
Identify and work with operational teams to implement processes that support the production of better-quality financial records in particular inventory processes at the Pharmacy.
Evaluate and implement cost-effective financial systems and tooling to strengthen controls while supporting Evaro’s object to keep healthcare affordable
Requirements
Essential
Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
At least 3 years PQE experience and experience leading a financial control team
Demonstrated experience implementing financial controls and processes in a scaling business environment, not just operating within established frameworks
Worked in business with inventory processes and know what good looks like
Have worked in or been through multiple statutory audits
Desirable
E-commerce or tech-enable retail experience, particularly in inventory-heavy businesses (healthcare sector knowledge is a bonus)
Experience accounting for share option schemes
