Applying to Evaro

Using AI in your application.

AI is part of everyday working life, and we use it too. This page explains where it can help you, where we'd rather hear from you directly, and how we use it on our side.

Preparing and applying

The better prepared you are, the better our conversation will be, and the easier it is for us to decide if we're right for each other.

Go for it

  • Research Evaro, our brands and the digital health market. Our Candidate Pack is a good place to start.
  • Paste in the job advert and practise answering questions
  • Organise your real examples so they're clear and easy to follow
  • Check your CV for spelling, grammar and layout
  • Ask for feedback on something you've written yourself

Please don't

  • Make up examples, skills or experience you don't have
  • Ask AI to write your application from scratch
  • Paste AI-written answers straight into your application
  • Send AI-written content without adding your own voice

Refine, don't replace. AI can help you tell your story more clearly, but it has to be your story. We'll ask about what you share with us, so the detail needs to come from you.

Tasks and case studies

Use it the way you would at work.

For some roles we'll ask you to complete a task, either beforehand, live on a call, or in person as part of a taster day. We're looking at how you think and how you tackle real problems. Unless the brief says otherwise, use AI as you would in the job. If a task needs to be done without AI, we'll tell you clearly in the brief.

Go for it

  • Use AI to research background and context
  • Use it to structure your work or test your thinking
  • Tell us how you used AI. We're interested.

Please don't

  • Hand in work you can't explain or defend
  • Let AI produce the whole thing without your input
  • Present conclusions you can't talk us through

Interviews

This part is all you.

Please don't use AI during a live interview, unless we've told you it's part of the task.

Bring your real stories

How you think

Interviews are where we get to know you best: how you think on your feet, how you handle a question you weren't expecting, and what you'd be like to work alongside.

What AI can't know

There are plenty of AI tools that can coach you through interview questions. What they can't know is the work you've actually done, and that's what we want to hear about.

Your real stories

Tell us about real situations you've been in: what was going on, what you did, what happened next and what you learned. The detail is what makes an answer stand out, like the decisions you made and why. Only you can give us that.

How we use AI

It's only fair we're open about our side too.

We use AI to help our small team work more consistently and give you a better experience. At every stage, a person is in charge.

Finding people

Searching for candidates

We use AI tools to help us search for people whose skills and experience match our open roles. If we get in touch with you about a role, a member of our team chose to contact you.

Adverts and job specs

Writing about our roles

We use AI to help us refine our job adverts and specs, so they describe the role accurately and clearly. The hiring manager and our Talent team check every one before it goes live.

Reviewing applications

Highlighting skills and experience

AI helps us highlight specific skills and experience in applications. It doesn't reject anyone. A person always reviews your application.

Interviews

Recording and transcribing

We record and transcribe interview calls so we can focus on the conversation rather than taking notes. We'll tell you at the start of the call. If you'd rather we didn't record, just say so and we'll take notes instead. It won't affect your application.

A person always makes the decision.

Every hiring decision at Evaro is made by people: the hiring manager and the team who met you. AI never decides whether you move forward or get an offer.

Not sure about something?

If you have a question about using AI in your application, or about how we use it, get in touch. We'd much rather you ask than feel unsure.
